Staircase Refurbishment
Staircase refurbishments involve upgrading staircases by installing entirely new components to enhance their appearance, safety, and functionality. This can include fitting new treads, handrails, balustrades, and materials such as replacing carpet with hardwood. Refurbishing a staircase with new elements is a cost-effective way to improve a home’s aesthetic appeal and increase its value without the need for a full structural replacement. Whether aiming for a modern style or a traditional look, a well-executed refurbishment can dramatically transform the character of a space.

The Process
Enquiry
Once you’ve been in touch, we will go through design options using photographs and samples as inspiration. Due to it being a staircase refurbishment there will be minor limitations on what designs can be achieved. But where there’s a will there’s a way and with our knowledge, we will do our best to provide you with different options to maintain the original idea at a price that’s right for you.
Survey
A traditional survey may not be required if you’re able to provide us with quality photographs of your existing staircase. If you would prefer a site visit we can arrange a date and attend to take any measurements and discuss any finer details and answer any questions you may have.
Installation
We will carefully remove and replace your existing parts while maintaining a tidy and safe staircase along the way. All materials will be pre-finished prior to installation although there may be a small amount of sanding needed to be done the fitters will touch up and give a final coat where needed. If you’re having glass balustrade measurements will be taken once the woodwork is complete and a return visit will be needed to install the glass.
