Copse Wood Way

This project brings together exceptional materials and thoughtful craftsmanship to create a truly elevated staircase. We supplied and installed a continuous wenge-stained oak handrail shaped in a graceful elliptical profile, finished with a 20% satin lacquer that enhances the timber’s depth, warmth, and natural character.

The balustrade is composed of dark bronze powder-coated spindles with a clean, rectangular form. Arranged in an alternating sequence, they introduce a gentle, contemporary rhythm. Each spindle is anchored with an ornate decorative foot, adding a layer of architectural elegance and subtly enriching the overall design.

Set into bespoke quartz stone treads and risers, the staircase demanded meticulous templating, drilling, and fixing to achieve

flawless alignment. Every detail was executed with precision to ensure a seamless visual flow from top to bottom.

The finished result is a refined, modern staircase—harmonising tone, texture, and proportion—crafted to the exemplary standard synonymous with Rickman Stairs.
